Outcomes of Visiting in China 6th-10th April 2013

HUN Sen, Prime Minister of Cambodia had paid an official visit to China from this 6th-10th April 2013 as invited by Li Keqiang, Primer of the People’s Republic of China. During visit, HUN Sen met and discussed with top leaders of People’s Republic of China namely President Xi Jinping, Chairman of Standing Committee Zhang Dejing, Premier Li Keqiang, as well as Julie Gillard Premier of Australia.

As stated in Press released (for Khmer Version) by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, both sides agreed to mark the year 2013 as the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the  diplomatic relationship between Cambodia and China and the “China-Cambodia Friendship Year” and signed the following documents:

1. MoU between National Bank of Cambodia and China Banking Regulatory Commission

2. Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation between the Royal Government of Cambodia and People’s Republic of China (300 Million Yuan)

3. Framework Agreement on a Concessional Loan Agreement Provided by China to Cambodia (Koh Thom bridge project) between the Royal Government of Cambodia and People’s Republic of China (126 Million Yuan)

4. Exchange of Notes on the Project on Vocational School of Agriculture in Kratie Province between the Royal Government of Cambodia and People’s Republic of China

5. Concessional Loan Agreement on the Staung River Basin Water Resource Development Project Phase 1 between the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Cambodia and the Export-Import Bank of China (329.75 Million Yuan)

6. Concessional Loan Agreement on the Koh Thom Bridge Project between the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Export-Import Bank of China (126 Million Yuan)

7. Action Plan on the Implementation of the China-Cambodia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership of Cooperation between the Royal Government of Cambodia and People’s Republic of China

8. MoU on the 5 Million Tons of Oil Refinery Project among China Development Bank, China Export and Credit Insurance and Cooperation, China Project Machinery Industry Cooperation and Cambodia Petrochemical Company (1.67 Billion USD)
